The Mommyheads will be performing a semi-acoustic show at the Howland Center on Friday, Jan. 27. Their set will feature songs from their just-finished album, Vulnerable Boy, as well as new versions of songs from previous records. Acoustic piano, upright bass, lots of vocals, and most exciting for us, a group of string players to fill out the sound.  We’ll be working hard this coming month putting together what, for us, is a very different kind of set, one geared to a sit down audience.
